UPDATE: has learned that an illness has forced Alessio Sakara out of his co-main event match against Jorge Rivera. Duane Ludwig vs. Nick Osipczak has been promoted to the slot.


-Carlos Eduardo Roca defeated Kris McCray via submission (kneebar) at 2:21 of round 1.

-Karlos Vemola defeated Seth Petruzelli via TKO (strikes) at 3:46 of round 1.

-Kyle Noke defeated Rob Kimmons via submission (rear naked choke) at 1:33 of round 2.

-Pascal Krauss defeated Mark Scanlon via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

-Vladimir Matyushenko defeated Alexandre “Cacareco” Ferreira via TKO (strikes) at 2:20 of round 1.


Duane Ludwig vs. Nick Osipczak

Round 1: Osipczak with a leg kick to start. Ludwig looking to counter. They trade high kicks. Osipczak going low again with a kick. They trade kicks and Ludwig scores with a high kick. They clinch against the fence. Osipczak pressing Ludwig against the fence and scoring with knees. He tries for a takedown but Ludwig avoids and starts teeing off. Ludwig connecting with punches and kicks that have Osipczak backpedaling. Osipczak with a couple of nice rights. Ludwig landing frequently. Osipczak drops Ludwig. He’s all over him, Ludwig is mounted against the fence. He’s looking to scramble, he’s started bleeding. Ludwig gets to his feet and Osipczak gets him right back down. Ludwig is cut open over the right eye. Osipczak in Ludwig’s guard, not much action to close the round until Osipczak scores with an elbow. scores the round 10-9 for Osipzcak

Round 2: They trade low kicks to start. Osipczak with a body kick. They trade punches. Both men seem a bit more tentative. Ludwig scores with a good kick and follow up punch combo. Good leg kick from Osipczak. Ludwig flicking kicks out and Osipczak looking to counter. Good left from Ludwig. They clinch and it’s Ludwig against the fence. Good left from Osipczak. Ludwig putting some decent punches together. He scores with a pair of body kicks. Ludwig checks a kick. Osipczak with a takedown. “Bang” is active from the bottom, but Osipczak is pressing him against the cage. The ref stands them up with :20 to go. Ludwig shoots for a takedown but is unable to complete. scores the round 10-9 for Osipczak

Round 3: A stutter start as Osipczak’s corner neglects to put in his mouth piece. They clinch against the fence, Osipczak drops for a single. Ludwig avoids. Ludwig with a nice body kick. Osipczak looking a bit slower than in the first two rounds, he looks to tie it up but can’t hold Ludwig for long. Ludwig scoring with punch combos. Nice body shot from Ludwig. Nice head kick that is blocked by Osipczak. Ludwig is pressing forward more and Osipczak continually trying to tie him up or walk away. He fires a head kick that is blocked. Joe Rogan speculates that Osipczak may have been injured at some point. Good knee by Ludwig, but he just can’t finish him. Osipczak is having a hard time standing but Ludwig still can’t put him away. Osipczak with a body kick. Ludwig fires back with a leg kick. Then a nice head kick. Ludwig goes for a takedown that he finishes after the bell. scores the round 10-9 for Ludwig

Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Goran Reljic

Round 1: They touch gloves to star things off. Both fighters standing in the Southpaw stance. Soszynski tries for a leg kick that whiffs. He bulls in again with a leg kick and follow up right. Soszynski takes a few and bulls back in. Reljic with a head kick that misses. Soszynski with a nice left-right. Reljic knocks Soszynski off of his feet but he recovers. Soszynski backing Reljic up with straight punches in bunches. Reljic choots for the takedown and gets Soszynski against the fence. They are separated and Reljic lands a nice shot on the restart. Soszynski hits with a leg kick. Reljic lands a takedown. Soszynski is looking for his patented kimura and it’s stalling most of Reljic’s offense. They end the round in that position. scores the round 10-9 for Soszynski

Round 2: A smile and a touch of gloves gets things going. Soszynski with a nice body kick. Reljic with a straigh kick and punch, then a clean takedown. Reljic is resting in Soszynski’s guard while Soszynski looks for the kimura. Not much action from Reljic on top, the referee stands them up. Soszynski with a good inside leg kick. He lands with a nice jab. Soszynski looks for the takedown himself, bulling Reljic against the fence. Reljic turns him. They go back and forth against the fence and Reljic eventually drops for a single leg. Soszynski avoids it and keeps Reljic against the fence, landing knees to the thighs. Reljic tries for a takedown and Soszynski avoids, pressing Reljic against the cage to end the round. scores the round 10-10

Round 3: Another touch of the gloves and they start swinging right away. They go back and forth with one-twos. Reljic with a good leg kick and then a failed takedown. Soszynski Looking to take Reljic’s back now, with Reljic turtled on the mat. Reljic rolls for a leg but Soszynski avoids and starts working with Reljic turtled up. Reljic rolls for a leg again but ends up with Soszynski on top of him throwing punches. Reljic gets up and eats some big shots from Soszynski before going for the takedown. They hit the fence and Soszynski starts looking for the standing kimura. He goes for it but Reljic gets out of it. Reljic looks exhausted and Soszynski is taking advantage of it, beating Reljic up. He is working from Reljic’s half guard with :30 to go. Soszynski fires away in the closing seconds and looked to have Reljic about finished when the bell rang.

Amir Sadollah vs. Peter Sobotta

Round 1: Sadollah lands a good kick and Sobtta returns. Sobotta gets Sadollah against the fence and they battle for position. Sadollah gets off the cage and goes after Sobotta but they hit the cage again. They separate and Sadollah stalks Sobotta, landing a solid jarring jab. Sadollah overwhelming Sobotta with crisper technique. He whiffs on a high kick and Sobotta grabs him around the waist from behind. Sobtta looks to get a hook in. Sobotta working for the takedown but Sadollah is defending well. He breaks out and they battle for position against the fence again. Sobotta is seeking the takedown relentlessly and Sadollah is defending. Sadollah chases Sobotta in the closing seconds. scores the round 10-9 for Sadollah

Round 2: Sadollah starts with a nice leg kick. Sobotta returns with a body kick that lands solid. Sadollah with a close head kick, then he moves in with a combo. Sobotta tries for a spinning back kick that Sadollah narrowly avoids. Sadollah landing to the body and then to the head. Sobotta fires back from off the fence. Sadollah follows a push kick up with a straight right that lands clean. Leg kick for Sadollah, then a partially blocked high kick. Sobotta with a head kick that is blocked. Sadollah getting the better of the stand up but Sobotta isn’t going anywhere. Sobotta goes for another takedown and gets Sadollah down briefly, but he gets right back to his feet. Sadalloh with a solid punch combination. Sadollah scoring with very solid kicks. Sobotta answers. Sobotta ends up on his back with Sadollah on top. Sadollah outclassing Sobotta on the feet but still taking his licks, bleeding from his nose. Sadollah drops Sobotta at the bell with a push kick to the midsection. scores the round 10-9 for Sadollah

Round 3: They touch gloves to start the round. Sadollag with a leg kick right off the bat. Sobotta tries for another spinning back kick, he lands a nice left hand. They trade punches, about breaking even. Sobotta with a good body kick and Sadollah returns with a head kick. Again. Sadollah buckles Sobotta with a leg kick. Sadollah with a solid body kick and Sobotta tries to turn it into a take down. They are fighting against the fence and Sadollah eventually breaks free. Another leg kick from Sadollah. Sadollah is battering Sobotta’s right leg. Sobotta gamely fighting back but Sadollah is getting the best of things. Sadollah with a solid one-two. Then a leg kick followed up by a solid four-punch combo. Sadollah showing beautiful technique in his attack, landing a solid knee after several punch-kick combos. scores the round 10-9 for Sadollah

Amir Sadollah defeaed Peter Sobotta via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Dennis Siver vs. Andre Winner

Round 1: The exchanges begin immediately, with both men landing well. Winner looking very sharp and quick with his strikes. Siver with a good leg kick. Winner with a body kick right hand combination. And Siver returns with a solid combo. Siver snatches a leg for the takedown and lights Winner up on the break. Winner looking to counter and lands with a nice leg kick. Siver lands with a flurry of kicks. Siver drops Winner and starts hammering away. He takes Winner’s back and looks for the rear naked choke. Winner taps.

Yushin Okami vs. Nate Marquardt

Round 1: Okami lands a stiff jab, the first strike of the night. Okami shoots and Marquardt reverses him, briefly looking for the guillotine. Okami gets out of it but is on his back working his butterfly guard. A ground scramble ensues and Okami winds up on top after Marquardt fails on a guillotine attempt. Okami is in Marquardt’s half guard. Marquardt rolls for a heel hook and gets back to his feet. Okami lands a solid left hand and then looks for a takedown against the cage. They fight for position and Okami eventually secures the takedown. scores the round 10-9 for Okami

Round 2: Marquardt looking to establish his jab but doesn’t have the chance before Okami goes for the takedown. Marquardt avoids and then eats a solid jab from Okami. Marquardt shoots for a takedown and Okami avoids deftly. They clinch and Marquardt eventually lands a throw. Marquardt holding Okami against the cage. Okami tries to get up, Marquardt gets him back down but then “Thunder” gets back up. After a brief exchange on the feet Okami goes for a takedown of his own. The crowd voices their displeasure with the bout’s measured pace. Okami going for the takedown against the fence relentlessly. They separate but their is little action on the feet before Okami fires off a few solid one-twos. Marquardt hammers Okami with a right hand when he tries a flying knee. They finish the round pecking away at each other. scores the round 10-10

Round 3: The exchange begins tentatively, with neither man looking to throw much. Okami is holding down the center of the cage and Marquardt, bleeding, is moving along the fence. Marquardt lands a nice left and Okami answers with a solid combination of his own. Okami still walking Marquardt down. He lands with another solid one-two. A right lands for Okami. Okami still keeping Marquardt on his heels, but a solid right hand and follow up combination land for Marquardt. Marquardt with a takedown. Okami gets back to his feet after relative inaction and walks Marquardt down again. Okami landing with more frequency to close the round. They clinch on the cage with ten seconds to go. Marquardt lands a right on the bell.
