Quinton Rampage Jackson isn’t giving on the movie business just yet, as he and his fellow UFC alumni Anderson Silva will be appearing in an upcoming Wesley Snipes film called Master Daddy.
According to Variety, Rampage and “The Spider” will be joined by many famous martial arts and fighting stars including Chuck Norris, Chiba, Frazier, Gracie, Hung, Inosanto, Jaa, Rhee, Kim, Lee Mosely, Bob Wall and even UFC 4 veteran Ron Van Cleef.
Snipes describes Master Daddy, a martial arts comedy, as a “mix of Kung Fu Hustle and Meet the Parents.” Tentatively scheduled for a fall 2011 release, there is no word on whether this will be released in theaters or straight to video.
Wesley Snipes himself is known for training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kung Fu and Capoeira and was even rumored to have a fight in the works with UFC commentator / comedian Joe Rogan a few years ago. He is currently staring down a 36 month prison sentence for felony tax evasion, which was upheld by a federal grand jury this summer.
