Sherdog.com has compiled a list of the medical suspensions handed down by the California State Athletic Commission to the fighters who competed on the Strikeforce Challengers 11 fight card, which went down this past Friday evening at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.
The stiffest suspensions were handed down to Dominic Clark, Brandon Cash, Virgil Zwicker; who all received 180 days for various injuries. All three fighters lost their respective bouts.
Shana Olsen and Roger Bowling both received 45 day suspensions for precautionary reasons; they also lost their respective bouts.
The full suspension list is below.
-Roger Bowling — suspended 45 days, with no contact 30 days
-Virgil Zwicker — suspended 180 days (possible right elbow fracture); 45 days, with no contact 30 days
-Shana Olsen — suspended 45 days, with no contact for 30 days (needs new physical)
-Brandon Cash — suspended 180 days (possible left knee and right ankle fractures); 45 days, with no contact for 30 days
-Dominic Clark — suspended 180 days (right knee, left eardrum injuries); 45 days, with no contact for 30 days
