Cro Cop” calm and smiling as he makes his way to the cage to Duran Duran. Mir catches the boos in this one as he walks out to Kanye West. Herb Dean is the referee here.
Round 1: They touch gloves and start exchanging. “Cro Cop” sowing some fast hands. Mir bulls in for a takedown but “Cro Cop” stuffs it. Mir presses him against the cage and lands a knee to the midsection. “Cro Cop” drops Mir with knee to the groin, “Cro Cop” apologizes profusely. Mir smiles as he walks it off. They restart and look to exchange on the feet some more. “Cro Cop” whiffs on a right high kick. Mir rushes in again and “Cro Cop” keeps him off with quick punches. Mir gets “Cro Cop” against the cage and lands a nice elbow. Mir leaning all over “Cro Cop” here. Mir with an inside leg kick and a punch combo that he uses to get “Cro Cop” against the fence again. Herb Dean warns them to work, he then separates them. “Cro Cop” with a leg kick. Mir bulls “Cro Cop” against the cage again.

Round 2: They touch gloves again. “Cro Cop” tries for a wide left hook that is blocked. “Cro Cop” with a one-two. The pace is very slow and both men are looking hesitant to engage. Mir grabs onto a body-lock and presses “Cro Cop” against the cage. Dean again warns them to work. They are separated again. Not much of significance landed in the exchanges, Mir gets “Cro Cop” against the cage again. The crowd is growing restless. Very little offense from either man so far. Dean separates them again. Mir tries to unload but has a hard time getting off. Both men drop their hands and stand in front of each other. The crowd lays on the boos.

Round 3: They touch gloves and start in with the same routine. “Cro Cop” tries for a left, it’s blocked. Mir tries for a takedown that is shrugged off. Still not much happening in this fight. Even the announcers are pleading for the two men to do something. Mir gets “Cro Cop” against the cage again but nothing happens, again. Dean separates them again. A minute and a half to go and still nothing. They exchange half-heartedly and Mir presses “Cro Cop” against the cage again. Mir lands a knee in an exchange that knocks “Cro Cop” out cold. He follows up with some ground and pound.

Mir says that his strategy was to take him down and that his wrestling needs to improve. Gives “Cro Cop” credit for his takedown defense.
