According to MMAJunkie.com renewed Croatian light heavyweight fighter Goran Reljic will make his Octagon re-appearance this November at the officially unannounced UFC 122 card against Krzysztof Soszynski.
Reljic entered the UFC with a record of 7-0 as a professional mixed martial artist. In his Octagon debut, at UFC 84 in May of 2008, Reljic took on the experienced Wilson Gouveia and defeated the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt via TKO (strikes) in the second round, earning himself a Fight of the Night bonus in the process. He has since posted two losses in the UFC since dropping to the middleweight division, against CB Dollaway and Kendall Grove, respectively. He is currently set to make his return to the light heavyweight this November at UFC 122 when he takes on Soszynski.
Polish-Canadian fighter Krzysztof Soszynski broke a three-fight win streak in the UFC when he took on Brandon “The Truth” Vera at UFC 102 in August of 2009. He rebounded from that fight with a controversial TKO (via cut) win over Stephan Bonnar at UFC 110 in February of this year but would lose via second round TKO (Strikes) in an immediate rematch with Bonnar that went down this July at UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin.
Both fighters will be looking to get back on the winning track when they face off at UFC 122, which is expected to go down this November 13th at the Konig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. The event has yet to be officially confirmed by the UFC.
