After much debate, it appears the long awaited rematch between welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre and Josh Koscheck will take place on a yet-to-be announced UFC 124 event on December 11th.
“It’s really looking like that fight will be in [Las Vegas, Nevada],” UFC president Dana White told the Las Vegas Sun. “If I could do it Toronto, believe me, I’d do it there in a heartbeat.
“We’re still talking about doing a fight in Pittsburgh, but if you’re going to a fight, do you want to go do Pittsburgh or do you want to go to Vegas?,” White rhetorically asked. “If we’re going to do a big, major title fight like that, we’ve got to do it in Las Vegas.”
If the highly anticipated affair is going to be held in Sin City, either the MGM Grand Garden Arena and Mandalay Bay Event Center will play host.
