When asked which version of Anderson Silva fans can expect to see inside Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA – the assassin that has embarrassed practically everyone in his Octagon path or the one that’s hung three consecutive lackluster middleweight title defenses – the controversial king said he’s planning on unleashing a never-before-seen edition.
“I’m not too sure, but I think you’ll see the Anderson who fought Chael,” Silva told MMAFighting.com of the different challenges each opponent presents.
So, would it be possible for you to please give me a hint before I pull the trigger?
“People say that I joke around, but I love what I do,” Silva said. “I enjoy what I do so I do have fun with it, but I don’t ever want anybody to take me going into the Octagon without sincerity. I’m going out there to do my job well.
“Regardless of what happens, I just want people to know that I’m out there doing my job.”
Speaking of employment, UFC president Dana White has promised to hand Silva his walking papers if he dares to revert back to his circus sideshow act.
UFC 117 takes place tonight in Oakland, CA.
