Dream 16 Set For Sept 25 In Japan

Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG) officially announced today that Dream.16 will be jumping off inside the Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan on September 25th.

Although no fighters were formally announced, several superstars grace the event poster including lightweight champ Shinya Aoki, former Strikeforce 205-pound champ Gegard Mousasi and living legend Kazushi Sakuraba.

Mousasi will face Tatsuya Mizuno in the finals of Dream’s four-man light heavyweight grand prix. The victor will leave the ring as the company’s first divisional champion.

Aoki is expected to defend his title against Tatsuya Kawajiri in the card’s featured contest.

It’s believed Dream.16 will will air live in North America on HDNet.
