Dana White will not allow Chuck Liddell back into the Octagon, no matter how much “The Iceman” tries to push for one.
Although most have already hung Liddell’s gloves up for him following his fourth knockout loss in his last six outings, Liddell has mumbled about a possible “final” bout against Tito Ortiz.
White quickly put an end to that talk over the UFC 116 weekend by stating he could promote the former champ and make money off him, but he’s not going to.
“Can Chuck Liddell still make money? Could I make money off Chuck Liddell? Yes. I don’t want that money. I don’t want to make that kind of money,” White admitted.
And what if Liddell demanded another fight so he could leave the sport on his terms?
“We’ll have that conversation. I guess if he asked me to release him, I’d release him. It’s not what I want,” White told reporters.
