Bloody Elbow.com is reporting that the UFC has released four of the castmembers from this latest installment of their hit reality show The Ultimate Fighter following losses posted at The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale which took place on June 19th.
Controversial castmember and once-promising prospect Jamie “The Chosyn 1″ Yager has been cut following a second round TKO loss to Rich Attonito. Yager impressed early on during the show’s run with his powerful and unorthodox striking style but alienated himself from castmates and some fans with his overblown ego. The loss dropped Yager to 2-2 as a professional.
Josh “The Beast” Bryant was also cut after a second round TKO loss suffered at the finale; his loss came at the hands of fellow TUF 11 castmate Kyle Noke.
Floridian middleweight James “The Sledge” Hammortree was cut on the heels of a closer-than-the-scores-indicate unanimous decision loss to Chris Camozzi. Hammortree is now on a two-fight losing skid as he entered the show after losing via submission to John Salter.
Former IFL fighter Seth Bacznyski was released also after losing via close unanimous decision to Brad Tavares.
