“Strikeforce: Fedor Vs. Werdum” Paydays

The California State Athletic Commission has released the official salaries for this weekend’s “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum” event in San Jose, CA. Despite suffering his first professional blemish in nearly a decade, Fedor Emelianenko walked away with more than half the total disclosed payroll for the Showtime broadcast.

Please keep in mind that the figures released today do not include sponsorship funds and somthin’-somthin’ bonuses elite fighters are rewarded with, which oftentimes represent a substantial portion of their total income for the night’s work.
