Quinton “Rampage” Jackson Loses To “The Karate Kid”

The Karate Kid and The A-Team made their respective 2010 silver screen debut over the weekend, however only one lived up to expectations. Actually, little Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan wiped the floor with the Soldiers of Fortune by lapping them… and then some.

The opening weekend’s numbers are in and they ain’t too pretty if you’re not on Mr. Miyagi’s side of the fence. The A-Team opened to a disappointing $26 million, so there’s a long ways to go before they are able to recoup the reported $110 million budget the “blockbuster hit” took on.

Conversely, Daniel-san and Co. came at a much cheaper price tag, as it was reported The Karate Kid remake only required a $40 million production budget.
