Dan Miller Will Fight Another Day In UFC

Many people, including Dan Miller himself, expected his third straight Octagon loss to be his last hurrah, but it seems as though the UFC has given Miller one more shot to make something happen.

It’s rare to see a fighter not get cut after posting back-to-back-to-back losses for the world’s premier MMA organization, we’ve seen plenty of athletes get released after one loss, but that hasn’t stopped the higher ups from allowing the New Jersey native a seventh Octagon appearance.

To say the middleweight has had a tough go would be an understatement. His last three losses have all come via unanimous decision against some of the division’s best, including No. 1 contender Chael Sonnen, former top contender Demian Maia as well as Michael Bisping.

Not a bad cast of characters to lose to, but Miller has struggled against the UFC’s top 185-pounders since facing stiffer competition. Miller was successful in his first three UFC fights against Rob Kimmons, Matt Horwich and Jake Rosholt, after a successful run through the now defunct IFL.

With no timetable set for his return, a source close to Miller told that Miller is currently spending time with his family.
