As expected, UFC president Dana White stated during today’s UFC 113 Q&A that the winner of tomorrow’s pivotal scrap between Josh Koscheck and Paul Daley will earn the right to coach opposite welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre on the 12th season of “The Ultimate Fighter.”
The announcement doesn’t come as a complete shock as MiddleEasy.com reported the possibility last month. In addition, White confirmed at yesterday’s pre-fight press conference that the Kos/Daley winner would get next dibs at GSP’s crown.
Koscheck holds a 14-4 pro mark and was last seen unleashing the most impressive performance of his career against Anthony Johnson at UFC 106. He executed a perfect gameplan that enabled him to earn a 2ndRound rear-naked submission victory.
Daley continued his explosive ways by putting Dustin Hazelett to sleep in the 1stRound of their UFC 108 scrap. The slugger owns an impressive 23-8-2 record, with 18 of his W’s coming via some sort of knockout.
UFC 113 takes place tomorrow night inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada
