TMZ.com is reporting that Jenna Jameson and Tito Ortiz have agreed to reconcile, and Ortiz will likely move back in the family home midweek. The report noted that the reason for the delay was the automatic restraining order which prohibited Ortiz from having contact with Jameson doesn’t expire until midnight tonight.
Jameson revealed to CNN last Friday that she hoped to reconcile with Ortiz.
“Unfortunately, what actually happened has now been dramatically distorted and misinterpreted and remarks that both Tito and I made after the police arrived reflect the state of shock that we were both in,” said Jameson.
“He’s a fantastic father and I’m confident we can work through this challenge.”
Police arrived at the couple’s home in Huntington Beach, CA last Monday after Jameson’s father called 911 to report a disturbance. Ortiz was later arrested for domestic abuse.
Ortiz held a press conference on Tuesday where he denied ever laying a hand on Jameson and claimed that the incident was triggered by Jenna’s addiction to OxyContin, a popular prescription pain killer, which she denied.
Ortiz later stated that he found two OxyContin pills in a pair of her pants and may have jumped to conclusions. Jameson said that the pills were very old and Ortiz’ lawyer, Chip Matthews, said that the whole thing was “a big misunderstanding.”
“What actually happened has now been dramatically distorted and misinterpreted and remarks that both Tito and I made after the police arrived reflect the state of shock that we were both in,” said Jameson.
