TMZ.com is reporting that Jenna Jameson passed a drug test one day after Monday’s alleged domestic dispute involving Tito Ortiz.
Ortiz was arrested on Monday for felony domestic violence, and later held a press conference where he denied ever laying a hand on Jameson and claiming that the incident was triggered by Jenna’s addiction to OxyContin, a popular prescription pain killer, which she denied.
“My parents have gone through an addiction, and I’ve seen a mirror again, and I’m not going to let my family go through that,” Ortiz stated. “I speak from the heart, and as I say… I hold everything dear to my heart that Jenna will be ok.”
Ortiz’s personal attorney, Chip Matthews, emphasized that, “Tito never touched Jenna.”
“Unfortunately, Jenna relapsed this morning and suffered the consequences of that,” Matthews said. “We’re here because Tito was trying to help her.”
The results of the drug test, administered Tuesday by American Toxicology Inc. in Las Vegas, show that Jameson tested negative for the ten major drugs they were screening, including cocaine, marijuana, meth and oxycodone – the major ingredient in OxyContin.
“I am definitely not addicted to OxyContin or any drug,” Jameson told TMZ.com. Her attorney, Ronald Richards added, “The lab tests clearly exonerate Jenna Jameson of any hint, iota, or suggestion that she ingested or was under the influence of any opiates or controlled substances.
“Statements made by anyone to the contrary are completely impeached by the results from this prestigious testing facility.”
