Silva has been a brand ambassador for XYIENCE since 2008. The Brazilian-born fighter is currently based in Las Vegas, where in addition to training he runs a 10,000-square-foot MMA training academy. Silva started training at the age of 13, holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Carlinhos Gracie and turned professional in 1996. He’s held several titles, including PRIDE Middleweight Champion and IVC Light Heavyweight Champion. In February 2010, while wearing the XYIENCE logo on his fight shorts, he defeated Michael Bisping in UFC 110.

Serra has been a brand ambassador for XYIENCE since the spring of 2009. The 35-year-old Long Island resident is a favored son of the East Coast MMA community, with an extensive fan base. In 2000, he became the first American promoted to black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under the legendary Renzo Gracie. Later, in 2006, he appeared on Spike TV’s hit reality television series “Ultimate Fighter 4: The Comeback,” and was the Welterweight Tournament Champion. He also defeated the current Welterweight Champion, Georges St. Pierre, for the title in 2007. Earlier this year, XYIENCE celebrated Serra’s win over Frank Trigg in the UFC 109: Relentless event.

Hardy, a 27-year-old British welterweight, was signed as a brand ambassador for XYIENCE earlier this year. He has been fighting professionally since 2004 and has held titles with Cage Warriors, including Light Welterweight and Welterweight World Champion. In 2008, Hardy signed with the UFC, and now has an overall mixed martial arts (MMA) record of 23-7-0 (1 NC). The former personal trainer began studying traditional martial arts at the age of six, and became interested in training for MMA in 2002. Close to finishing his degree in contemporary art, Hardy left the Nottingham Trent University in his final year to devote himself entirely to his MMA training. He is known, however, for spending a great deal of time with his sketchpad and has even been referred to in British newspapers as the Picasso of Pain.

Through televised broadcasts of UFC events, the XYIENCE brand reaches some 100 million-television households in North America. As a part of XYIENCE’s UFC sponsorship relationship, its logo receives prime positioning on the mat and bumpers of the Octagon . This often results in a fight’s critical moments taking place on or next to the XYIENCE and Xenergy logos, and translates into millions of viewer impressions for XYIENCE. Internationally, XYIENCE reaches more than 420 million television households via UFC programming and live UFC Pay-Per-View broadcasts.
