Gaming giant THQ has recently released a video trailer that features a revamped Career Mode in the upcoming “UFC Undisputed 2010″ video game. The highly anticipated follow-up is set to be released on May 25th. GameStop is sending FightLine a copy of the game and we’ll run a review at the end of May.
One of the new features added to the game’s Career Mode is the “Game is Watching You” system which tracks your fighter’s tendencies as the game adapts to your character.
For example, if your fighter has knocked out his last 3 opponents with a head kick, a la Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic (in his PrideFC heyday of course), not only will fans hear commentators Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg mention the stat, but your opponent will be more prone to look for your head kicks – which will ultimately force you to change up your gameplan.
Customers who pre-order UFC Undisputed 2010 from GameStop receive four exclusive TUF fighters: James McSweeney, Marcus Jones, Brendan Schaub and Roy “Big Country” Nelson. Customers who order the PlayStation 3 version of the game receive additional bonus content including:
– Three UFC legend fighters: Royce Gracie, Jens Pulver and Dan Severn
– Five exclusive gameplay fights
– Five of the greatest fights in UFC history in Blu-Ray
In addition, GameStop is sponsoring the “Ultimate Fighter Weekend” sweepstakes and “Train a Fighter” contest. You can find more details at GameStop.com/UFC2010.
