It’s been over a week since Anderson Silva single-handedly turned UFC 112 into his very own circus act, yet he’s still the talk of the MMA town – less a certain “Strikeforce: Nashville” brawl on CBS of course.
Last Wednesday, UFC president Dana White appeared as a guest on ESPN’s Jim Rome is Burning and threatened to fire MMA’s most efficient striker if he ever resorted back to his shenanigans.
“If he ever acts like that again in the ring, I will cut him. I don’t care if he’s the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. I don’t care if he is the middleweight champion. I will cut him, absolutely.”
Silva recently appeared on the popular Brazilian show Domingão do Faustão to defend his shenanigans on April 10th.
Here’s what “The Spider” said regarding his boss’ threats.
“I won, Dana can say whatever he wants. He’s the owner,” Siva matter-of-factly said.
