Rafael dos Anjos vs. Terry Etim

Etim takes a page out of BJ Penn’s book and enters the cage to Phil Collin’s “In the Air Tonight”.

Round 1: Etim takes the center of the Octagon. They trade leg kicks. Dos Anjos gets a takedown and Etim grabs onto his neck with a guillotine choke. Etim won’t let go but Dos Anjos looks relaxed. He gets out of it and passes into Etim’s side control. The referee stops it to warn Dos Anjos for throwing knees to Etim’s spine. They start back standing. Etim gets Dos Anjos to the ground. scores the round 10-9 for Etim.

Georges St. Pierre is shown in the crowd and Joe Rogan hints at his possible bout with Anderson Silva.

Round 2: They trade leg kicks. Etim gets the Thai plum and lands a good knee that wobbles the Brazilian. Dos Anjos puts him on his back. Dos Anjos in half guard trying to go for the mount. Dos Anjos with some good elbows. Dos Anjos briefly gets mount but Etim shakes him off. Dos Anjos in North-South position going for a kimura. He switches to an armbar and Etim taps.

Rafael Dos Anjos defeated Terry Etim via submission (armbar) at 4:30 of Round 2.
