Many would say that former light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz has been a pain in UFC president Dana White’s neck for years. Unfortunately for the 35-year-old, it seems as though the tides have turned as Ortiz is now the one suffering from a neck injury.
After it was reported that Ortiz would no longer be fighting Chuck Liddell following the 11th season of “The Ultimate Fighter” where the two served as opposing coaches, many were left wondering what was going on with “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy.”
FiveOuncesofPain has learned that Ortiz, who has had a long history of back injuries, is currently dealing with “multiple herniations” in his neck.
The season debut of “The Ultimate Fighter 11″ is set for March 31st on SpikeTV following “UFC Fight Night 21,” which will be headlined by a lightweight bout between Kenny Florian and UFC newcomer Takanori Gomi.
