UFC president Dana White took to his Twitter today to make the announcement that “UFC 111: St. Pierre Vs. Hardy” is sold out.
The welterweight title fight is scheduled to take place on March 27 in Newark, NJ at the Prudential Center. It will be the second UFC event held at the Prudential Center, and the second to sell out. The venue can accommodate up to 19,500 people but with the UFC’s seating arrangement the venue holds slightly upwards of 14,000 spectators.
UFC 111 will also feature a fight between Shane Carwin and Frank Mir for the Interim Heavyweight Title and a rematch between top welterweights Thiago Alves and Jon Fitch.
