Don’t worry MMA enthusiasts, former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans isn’t leaving Team Jackson permanently, he’s just changing his training location from New Mexico to Denver as he prepares for his UFC 114 battle against his longtime foe.
Greg Jackson, award winning mixed martial arts coach, normally sets up his training camps in Albuquerque, New Mexico but Evans recently tweeted that he wanted to relocate this specific camp to Denver instead.
Evans also confirmed his long-rumored bout with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as well.
“For those that don’t know. I fight Quinton May 29th in Vegas at the MGM. I’m gonna do most of my camp in Denver at Grudge still team Jackson,” Evans tweeted.
UFC 114 is scheduled to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena with the second ever UFC Fan Expo penciled in at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center that same May 29th weekend.
