Although Michael Bisping isn’t one to ever shy away from good ‘ol fashioned trash talkin’, the Brit claims to have nothing bad to say about his UFC 110 opponent.
“I have got the greatest respect for Wanderlei Silva,” Bisping stated. “Early on in my career I used to watch a lot of [him] back in PRIDE. He has always been one of my favorite fighters and I have got nothing but respect for the guy. So, to be fighting a legend like Wanderlei Silva for me is a great honor.”
It was rumored that Bisping had said Wandy was scared of him, to which the Brazilian responded with a resounding, “LMFAO” – or something similar to it. However, Bisping says any reports of him dissing Silva are completely unfounded because he’s always been more of a fan than foe.
“He says he is not scared of me – of course he is not scared of me. He has fought some of the biggest names in the world but make no mistake, I am not scared of him either,” Bisping said. “I think it’s a very winnable fight for me. I am going to go out there and give it my best and I plan on winning in Australia.”
