MMAJunkie.com is reporting that Alberta, Canada Native Tim “The Thrashing Machine” Hague announced his termination from the UFC today on Facebook. He joins Mark Coleman and Phillipe Nover as the latest fighters to be released from their UFC contracts today.
Hague was cut after a close, hotly contested split-decision loss to Brock Lesnar training partner Chris Tuchscherer at “UFC 109: Relentless” this past Saturday. That brought his UFC record to 1-2 and his overall record to 10-3.
“The Thrashing Machine” made his UFC debut against Pat Barry at “UFC 98: Evans Vs. Silva” and won by submission in Round 1. In his last fight before UFC 109 he took on Todd Duffee and lost by knockout.
Hague had this to say about his future plans: “(It’s) time to train harder, beat up some more people and work back to the big show.”
