MMAFighting.com reported today that Andrei Arlovski’s next fight will be a four round exhibition boxing match against fighter Fres Oquando for charity on February 27 in Miami. The Consequences Charity, which is the charity they will be fighting for, sets about to prevent criminal behavior in adolescents.
Arlovski last appeared in combat against Brett Rogers at “Strikeforce: Lawler Vs. Shields” where he lost by TKO (strikes) in the first round. That fight, combined with a knockout loss delivered by Fedor Emelianenko, put Arlovski on a two fight losing streak.
Arlovski trains with renowned boxing coach Freddie Roach at Wild Card Boxing Club in Los Angeles. He was even scheduled to participate in a boxing match last year but had to withdraw due to injury and a film commitment.
Fres Oquendo is a professional boxer with a record of 31-5. He has fought world class boxers James Toney and Evander Holyfield to very close decisions.
