MMAJunkie.com is reporting that two of MMA’s more colorful personalities in “Crazy” Tim Credeur (12-3) and Tom “The Filthy Mauler” Lawlor (6-2) will square off at UFC 113.
Navy veteran Tim Credeur participated in The Ultimate Fighter 7 and found his way into the UFC after a solid performance against fellow TUF 7 castmate Cale Yarbrough at “Ultimate Fight Night 14: Silva Vs. Irvin”. He went on to earn a 3-1 record in the UFC with all three wins coming by stoppage. His last outing was not as successful as he went the distance against Nate Quarry at “UFC Fight Night 19: Diaz Vs.Guillard” and dropped a unanimous decision.
“The Filthy Mauler” had a similarly disappointing performance when he lost a very close split decision to Aaron Simpson at “UFC Fight Night 20: Maynard Vs. Diaz” last month. Lawlor was on a two fight win streak in the UFC that was marked by an upset win over CB Dollaway at UFC 100.
UFC 113 is scheduled to take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on May 8, 2010. Also on the card is a bout between the UFC’s newest cash cow Kimbo Slice and former NFLer Matt Mitrione and what promises to be a welterweight slugfest between Muppet haired Josh Koscheck and UK knockout artist Paul Daley.
