Final Card For “UFC 109: Relentless”, Live Coverage This Saturday

UFC 109: Relentless takes place this Saturday, February 6th, inside the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas, NV. The 11-bout fight card will feature a light heavyweight scrap between UFC Hall of Famers Randy Couture and Mark Coleman.

Couture was last seen taking a controversial unanimous decision victory over Brandon Vera at UFC 105. It was his first light heavyweight fight in nearly 3 years. The fan-favorite has respectfully requested this showdown for a while and it will finally happen under Vegas’ bright lights.

Coleman was booked to fight Tito Ortiz at UFC 106 in November, but was forced to pull out of the card due to an injury during training. The veteran claims that his wheel is all healed-up and he’s ready to go.

Nate Marquardt will once again look to prove his “top contender” status as he faces Chael Sonnen in the night’s co-main event. It is believed he victor of this 186-pound battle will face the winner of the middleweight title bout between champion Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort at UFC 112.
