Yesterday on MMALive, co-host Kenny Florian alerted fans that he’s in the process of inking a contract extension to remain with the UFC.
“Right now, I’m in negotiations to sign a contract with the UFC, to do a multi-fight deal with them pretty soon. I’m very excited about that,” stated “The Ultimate Fighter 1? runner-up. “I have had the honor and been blessed to start my career with the UFC and definitely plan on finishing it there.”
Florian holds an impressive 12-4 professional record, with all but one of his victories ending before the final horn. Although he thoroughly handled Roger Huerta at UFC 87, Florian had to settle for taking a lopsided unanimous decision that August 2008 evening.
