A welterweight matchup between Paul Daley and Josh Koscheck is expected to take place at UFC 113 on May 1st – that’s assuming that Kos has recovered from the undisclosed injury that forced him out of his rematch with Paulo Thiago at UFC 109.
MMAJunkie.com confirmed with sources close to the 170-pound affair that both fighters have agreed to the fight, but understand that it can be scrapped if Koscheck isn’t fully recouped from whatever it is that ails him.
Koscheck was last seen unleashing the most impressive performance of his career against Anthony Johnson at UFC 106. He executed a perfect gameplan that enabled him to earn a second round rear-naked submission victory.
Daley continued his explosive ways by putting Dustin Hazelett to sleep in the first round of their UFC 108 scrap. The Brit owns an impressive 23-8-2 record, with 18 of his wins coming via some sort of knockout.
