The Northwest Indiana Times is reporting that former UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk will be returning to the Octagon against Clay Guida at UFC Fight Night 21 on March 21st.
Sherk was scheduled to compete in last weekend’s UFC 108: Evans vs. Silva card, but was forced to pull out after suffering a cut while training for his bout against Jim Miller.
Guida last fought at UFC 107: Penn vs. Sanchez where he was submitted by former 155-pound top contender Kenny Florian in the second round.
UFC Fight Night 21 will take place in Denver, Colorado and is rumored to be headlined by a light heavyweight showdown featuring the up-and-coming Jon Jones vs. Brandon Vera. The event will be televised live on Versus.
