Quinton "Rampage" Jackson Gets Probation For High-Speed Chase

Friday, an Orange County judge struck down Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s felony conviction of evading police in a high-speed chase through Newport Beach in July 2008. Instead, the controversial fighter was placed on three years probation for misdemeanor reckless driving after successfully completing more than 200 hours of community service.

“I will never see that judge in a courtroom again,” Rampage told the OCRegister. “I don’t see myself doing anything crazy again… I want to be a positive role model.”

Rampage was grateful Judge Thomas Goethals agrees that his life was out of control when he went Days of Thunder-with it, but is more thankful nobody got hurt when he lost his mind.

“I could have really hurt someone or hurt myself,” he said. “I will never let something get me so down I would hurt myself or others.”
