"TUF 10 Finale" Tops 6 Million Viewers After Including DVR Viewers

Fans like to watch Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson fight – and Spike TV has the numbers to prove it. The cable television network announced yesterday that The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 Finale last month drew a massive 6 million viewers, with viewership peaking during the Kimbo Slice vs. Houston Alexander bout.

Spike initially reported that the finale drew around 5.2 million viewers, but DVR viewing pushed that number to 6 million. Officials from the cable network said that the championship bout between Roy Nelson and Brendan Schaub, as well as a light-heavyweight fight between Matt Hamill and Jon Jones drew high numbers, but the highest ratings came from the Slice vs. Alexander fight.

Slice is also credited for helping TUF 10 become the highest-rated season in the series history, with the third episode featuring his fight with Roy Nelson being the highest rated episode in the show’s history.

No future opponent has been named for Slice since he defeated Alexander, but there is no doubt that it will draw a huge audience.
