Rashad Evans Seeks Fight With Quinton "Rampage" Jackson After UFC 108 Victory

It looks like the highly anticipated bout between Rashad Evans and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson may happen after all.

UFC President Dana White stated earlier this week that if Evans was able to secure a victory over Thiago Silva tonight at UFC 108, then he would face Jackson next. Evans managed to fulfill his side of the deal, as he defeated Silva tonight at UFC 108 via unanimous decision. When asked what he wanted next, Evans surprised no one.

“Well, I here there’s an actor who came back to the fight game in the UFC,” Evans said of Jackson. “Rampage, I know you’re watching, so come back baby, let’s get it on!”

Jackson and Evans were slated to face each other at UFC 107 last month, however Jackson pulled out of the fight when he accepted the role of B.A. Baracus in the upcoming movie, The A-Team. Rampage went on to release a statement in September announcing that he was retiring in order to pursue his Hollywood ambitions.

Jackson went on to announce his return in early December, citing a bout with Evans as the reason for his coming back.
