Ok, so the UFC’s “New Year’s Eve” promotion this season isn’t as star-studded as they have hosted in years past, but it appears the world’s biggest MMA organization is trying to make it up to fans by packing four former world champions, and one current champ, into a two-hour long autograph session prior to the weigh-ins for “UFC 108: Evans vs. Silva.”
Former middleweight king Rich Franklin, one-time interim heavyweight champ Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, legendary PrideFC middleweight title holder Wanderlei Silva and reigning UFC welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre will all participate in an autograph signing beginning at 1PM Local time on Friday, January 1st.
Wandy won’t be at the autograph booth for long as he will also spearhead the Q&A session for UFC Fight Club members starting at 2PM local time.
The injury-plagued fight card has taken quite the transformation since it was first announced a couple months back, however just because the superstars aren’t participating in the show doesn’t mean they won’t be in the house.
The event will be held inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena concourse in Las Vegas, Nevada. Everything is free and open to the public, outside of the Q&A session with Silva.
The official weigh-ins are slated to jump off that evening at 7PM ET/4PM PT, and can be streamed right here on FightLine.com.
