Former WWE superstar Bobby Lashley will make his much anticipated debut at Strikeforce: Miami on January 30th. The former WWE wrestler, who currently wrestles for pro wrestling outfit TNA Wrestling, plans to leave the entertainment side of his personality at home when he steps into the cage.
“It’s going to be all business,” Lashley said of his Strikeforce career. “I didn’t come in here to play around. You know, I had my opportunity to do that in wrestling in TNA. Here in Strikeforce, it’s strictly business.”
Lashley looks to go back to what brought him to the dance in the first place – his amateur wrestling pedigree – in preparation for his debut for the organization.
“I’m going back to the wrestling hard,” he stated. “I’m just going to go out there and give it everything I have. And I’m going to go for it.”
Strikeforce: Miami takes place on January 30th from Miami, Florida. The event is headlined by two title bouts, with Strikeforce Women’s Champion Cris “Cyborg” Santos defending her title against Marloes Coenen, and Nick Diaz facing DREAM welterweight champion Marius Zaromskis for the new Strikeforce welterweight title.
