What Should An MMA Fan Watch Saturday: ‘WEC 45′ Or ‘Strikeforce: Evolution’

Ok, so it might not be the UFC vs. Strikeforce tomorrow, but Strikeforce and the WEC will be battling for MMA fans’ attention as both organizations will be hosting major events. ”WEC: Cerrone vs. Ratcliff” will be jumping off live at 10PM ET/7PM PT on Versus and “Strikeforce: Evolution” begins at 10PM ET/PT on Showtime.

Thankfully, some nerds invented the DVR a little while ago so you won’t have to miss a second of mixed martial arts action, regardless of the card you decide to watch first.

Obviously, Strikeforce is the bigger show, however only paying customers receive Showtime and the event will not be live if you don’t have access to an east coast feed.

On the other hand, DirecTV subscribers were robbed of Versus a few months ago, so the WEC card might not even be an option for some.
