Roy Nelson KOs Brendan Schaub To Win Season Ten Of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’

Roy “Big Country” Nelson knocked out Brendan Schaub in the first round to win season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter.

Nelson was the heavy favorite entering the house. The former IFL heavyweight champion came into the house with the most experience with a 17-4 record.

“I think Kimbo had the most experience, he had more backyard brawls than I had,” Nelson joked after the fight. “I was definitely the underdog coming in, but I’m just a fat guy, so it’s OK.”

Schaub looked like he was going to score an upset at a couple of occasions during the fight, before ultimately being clipped by a huge right hand over his ear that took him out of the fight.

“I’m feeling pretty good,” Nelson stated afterward.

The 263-pound Nelson came to the cage to “Fat”, the Weird Al Yankovic parody of Michael Jackson’s “Bad”, also noted after the fight that “I’m going to go get Burger King.”

As for what’s next for Nelson, the student of Renzo Gracie made it clear that he’s ready for any challenge.

“It really doesn’t matter, I’m ready to step in with any of the heavyweights that we have.”
