UFC President Dana White announced during The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale that Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell will be the coaches for the next season of The Ultimate Fighter, and will square off for the third time at the conclusion of the season. Ortiz has been asking for a rematch with Liddell since re-signing with the UFC last summer.
“I would have to say Chuck Liddell,” Ortiz said regarding who he would like to fight when he re-signed. “I made a few mistakes in both fights and he beat me twice. I gotta say it was Chuck. I would love a rematch, but too bad he’s retired. A rematch would be nice and I think the fans would love it.”
Shortly after Ortiz re-signed with the UFC, Liddell tweeted that he would be more than willing to clear his schedule to whoop Ortiz’ tail for a third and final time.
“Sign me up to kick titos ass again,” Liddell posted on his Twitter account in August.
