Welterweight challenger Dan Hardy recently responded to Josh Koscheck, who called him out after submitting Anthony Johnson at UFC 106.
“I kind of saw it coming. The thing I’ve come to realize about Josh Koscheck is that he’s kind of like the turd that you want to flush away,” Hardy said.
Koscheck said that he should be getting a title shot against welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, not Hardy.
“He’s always kind of floating around, he never does anything,” Hardy explained. “He thinks he deserves a shot at GSP but he’s 3-2 in his last 5 fights. He really isn’t in a position to call in a title shot.”
It’s being rumored that Hardy will be facing St-Pierre at UFC 111 in Newark, New Jersey in March.
St-Pierre has been recovering from a groin injury he suffered in his easy victory over Thiago Alves at UFC 100 and is expected to be ready to fight by the time UFC 111 rolls around.
