After suffering devastating first-round losses to both Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers earlier this year, Andrei Arlovski is looking to make a comeback. The former UFC heavyweight champion is hoping to return to action at either the Strikeforce: Evolution event on December 19th, or at the Dynamite!! 2009 event on New Year’s Eve in Japan. Arlovski spoke with Ray Flores of FightLine.com shortly after the Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers event earlier this month, and talked about whom he would like to face.
“Fedor or [Brett] Rogers,” Arlovksi bluntly noted. “Because they both beat me and I want a rematch.”
Arlovski also noted that he hoped to fight with Strikeforce before the end of the year.
“Hopefully Strikeforce is gonna come back to me,” he said. “I just train hard and prepare for my next fight, hopefully I’m going to fight in December.”
Arlovski also talked about training with Greg Jackson, what he’s learned from his bouts with Fedor and Rogers and more. You can watch the full interview below:
