Amir Sadollah vs. Phil Baroni
Round 1: Baroni came out strong early, and nailed Sadollah with a big right hand. He tied Sadollah against the cage and landed a couple more big shots. Sadollah started landing some knees and clinched Baroni against the cage. Both fighters traded knees, with Sadollah landing more before being taken down by Baroni. Baroni landed a couple of minor shots before he let Sadollah back to his feet. Sadollah continued to work the knees.and landed a hard right. Sadollah pressed Baroni against the cage and continued to punish Baroni with knees and stuffed a takedown from Baroni late in the round. Sadollah landed a couple more knees as the round came to a close. FightLine.com scores the round 10-9 for Baroni.
Round 2: Sadollah started aggressive and landed a nice combination and big knee on Baroni. Sadollah used his reach advantage to land more kicks and punches. Sadollah pressed Baroni against the cage and continued to land the knees. Sadollah continued to wear on Baroni with kicks and knees. Baroni rocked Sadollah with some punches, one which floored Sadollah, but Sadollah was quickly back to his feet. FightLine.com scores the round 10-9 for Sadollah.
Round 3: Sadollah continued to use his leg kicks, with Baroni countering with big combinations that missed. Sadollah pressed Baroni against the cage and landed some vicious elbows. The leg kicks from Sadollah have really taken their toll, as Baroni looks like he’s having a hard time staying on his feet. A couple more leg kicks from Sadollah, then Sadollah came in with a nice combination and strikes against the cage, followed by a head kick. Sadollah continued to punish Baroni with knees and elbows as the round came to a close. FightLine.com scores the round 10-9 for Sadollah.
