As season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter winds down, plans for the next season are already underway. According to a recent report on Telegraph.co.uk, UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and top contender Dan Hardy are being considered to serve as coaches for the next season. The welterweight title bout between Hardy and GSP would then take place at the conclusion of the season.
Hardy is coming off of his high profile upset victory over Mike Swick at UFC 105 last Saturday, and says he ready to face St. Pierre.
“I’d fight him [GSP] in Canada, Las Vegas, England, on the moon, or in the car park,” Hardy stated. “I want that belt.
“He’s a great athlete very good at winning and putting together a gameplan; but he is not a fighter like me,” Hardy continued. “And I’m going to get in there and my intention is to hurt him, put a beating on him. In a 25 minute fight, it’s a long time to keep my hands off his chin.”
