The November 7th Strikeforce women’s bout between Erin Toughill (10-2-1) and Marloes Coenen (16-3) has been pulled from the card, sources tell Fightline.com.
Toughill was forced to withdraw from the bout due to an undisclosed medical condition. The bout was to determine the number one contender for Strikeforce 145-pound women’s champion Cris “Cyborg” Santos (9-1).
Coenen was originally scheduled to face Cyborg on the card, however Cyborg had to pull out of the contest due to an injury she suffered while competing in the Abu Dhabi Combat Club tournament this past month in Barcelona.
Coenen and Toughill would have been meeting for the second time, as they first faced off in 2004, a bout that Toughill won via TKO.
