The Ultimate Fighter 3 winner Kendall Grove will be taking on Jake Rosholt at UFC 106 inside the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The preliminary bout was confirmed today on UFC.com, as well as eight other bouts.
Grove was last seen dropping a unanimous decision to Almeida at UFC 101 back in August. The loss was rather disappointing for the Hawaiian as he was riding a two fight winning streak heading in. Just to put this middleweight bout into perspective, a victory gives Grove three wins in his past four outings, while a loss would be his fourth in his last six fights.
Rosholt looked impressive at UFC 102 where he earned himself Submission of the Night honors for his arm-triangle choke on Chris Leben. He holds an impressive 6-1 pro mark, with his only blemish coming against Dan Miller at UFC Fight Night 17.
