Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and current Dancing With The Stars champion-to-be (probably not true, but that would be kinda cool) Chuck Liddell was on Good Day L.A. yesterday to talk about his dancing and MMA careers respectively. While one seems to be off to a good start, the other seems to be in a state of flux. We all know that UFC President Dana White and Liddell have gone back and forth over the last few months on whether or not “The Icemen” will ever return to the Octagon, but Liddell appears to be of the thinking that his fighting career has not yet seen it’s end.
“After this [Dancing With The Stars] I’m gonna spend some time with my kids, because I’ve been away for a while, and then I’ll talk to Dana, I’ll talk to my trainer and we’ll see what we’re gonna do,” Liddell said.
Speaking to White’s hesitation to let him fight again, Liddell stated, “It’s not completely up to him, we’re gonna argue about it. I still think I’ve got something left.
“If he can convince me I don’t, maybe I’ll retire,” Liddell continued. “Maybe I can convince him I still got something left and I want to fight. We’ll see what I gotta do to convince Dana. I’m gonna work at it real hard.”
