Two More Bouts Confirmed For UFC 103

The UFC has just confirmed the addition of two bouts for their UFC 103 event on September 19th. Octagon rookies Nick Lentz and Steve Lopez have been added to the non-televised portion of the fight card.

Lentz is currently riding a six-fight win streak, included a unanimous decision victory over UFC veteran Drew Fickett in March. He will be taking on Rafaello Oliveira in his UFC debut.

This will mark Lopez’s first scrap since October 2008. Eight of his 12 career wins have come via submission, so you know what he’ll be looking to do against Jim Miller.

Former middleweight king Rich Franklin will be rolling out the welcome-back wagon for former UFC light heavyweight champ Vitor Belfort as the two will meet in a 195-pound catchweight bout in the night’s main event.

In addition, for the first time on a U.S. pay-per-view event, the UFC and Spike TV will broadcast a 60-minute lead-in show where they will televise two live preliminary bouts starting at 9PM ET/6PM PT.
