Chris Leben vs. Jake Rosholt
Round 1: Rosholt and Leben traded leg kicks early on. A big “Leben” chant broke out. Not much action in the opening minutes until Rosholt took Leben down late in the round. He landed some good shots before getting back to the center of the cage. Leben swung wildly in the final seconds of the round, but didn’t connect with anything substantial. FightLine.com scores the round 10-9 for Leben.
Round 2: Leben connected with a big left hand that rocked Rosholt early in the round and took Rosholt to the ground. Leben wasn’t able to do much on the ground, and they were stood up. Leben went for a head kick and landed a big left. Rosholt was able to get a takedown and attempted a arm-in guillotine. Rosholt stood up and allowed Leben to get back to his feet. Leben tried throwing some big punches, which were partially blocked, to end the round. FightLine.com scores the round 10-9 for Leben, although it’s a close one.
Round 3: Rosholt took Leben down early and trapped Leben’s arm and dropped elbows onto Leben. Rosholt tried to take Leben’s back and was able to secure a choke. Leben looked like he tried to tap, but the referee couldn’t tell. A couple of seconds later, Leben was out and the referee stopped the fight.

Bruce Buffer stumbled on Roshalt’s name when announcing him as the winner, just calling him “Jake”, before finally saying “Roshalt” several seconds later.
Roshalt was ecstatic with his first victory in the octagon.
