A rumored middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Wanderlei Silva at UFC 105 was thrown out the window recently, after Silva underwent facial surgery that will keep him out of the cage until 2010. However, Fighter’s Only Magazine is reporting today that former Pride FC welterweight grand prix finalist Denis Kang may face Bisping at the event.
“Denis has been offered the fight so I presume Michael has as well,” a reputable Canadian source told the magazine. “Nothing has been signed yet but yes, that is the fight that has been offered.”
Bisping is looking to get back to his winning ways in his home country of England, after suffering a devastating loss to Dan Henderson at UFC 100.
Meanwhile, Kang is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Xavier Foupa-Pokam at UFC 97.
UFC 105 takes place on November 14th from Manchester, England and will air on Spike TV.
