Georges St-Pierre Avoids Surgery, Will Only Need A Few Weeks To Recover

UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre received some good news regarding the pulled groin he suffered during his UFC 100 scrap against Thiago Silva last weekend. It appears that GSP has dodged the operating table as he will simply need a few weeks of TLC to recover.

“Georges should be back in the gym training within a few weeks after a brief rehabilitation,” the French-Canadian’s manager, Shari Spencer, told via email.

Spencer also confirmed with the website that an MRI taken earlier last week revealed no lasting damage.
